Reviving a Great Connection between Asiago and the United Kingdom
As part of the commemorations for the 100th anniversary of the British Expedition to the Italian Front in 1917-18 we are helping to organise a series of cultural exchanges between Asiago and the United Kingdom. These commemorations will include an official visit by the Royal Family to the British & Commonwealth Military Cemeteries on the Asiago Plateau in 2018.
The first cultural exchanges are visits by cyclists organised by two volunteers – Nick Franchini and Keir Apperley (youth worker and cycling social entrepreneur):
- Hackney Expedition
For cyclists in the London area
Sponsored by InterLinkx and Hackney Cycling Club
- Todmorden Expedition
For cyclists in around the North West of England
Sponsored by Kava Kafe, Todmorden
You are invited to join us
We are currently recruiting cyclists now for both groups.
