Amore di Confine
This is the first flat available in this newly decorated palazzo with the catalogue name of local and international prize winning author Mario Rigoni Stern. The full collection of flats will all be named after his novels. Other palazzos will be identified with a different local theme. Click here for a short biography about this legendary author and an English version of this novel. Rigoni Stern is only just beginning to be discovered by English language readers.
This newly decorated apartment is on the second floor and faces east, south and west so it is wrapped in sunshine all day long with balconies on the eastern and western sides. The front door opens onto a corridor with three bedrooms and the bathroom and then opens onto an open plan kitchen diner lounge. The lounge features a large persian rug by a fireplace, a wall mounted digital TV with hdmi and usb, and wifi with three optional speeds. Logs for the fire are stored on the adjacent front balcony. In addition, there is a garage in the basement with natural light which is ideal for activity holidays like cycling.
The palazzo is surrounded by its own lawns and a small area of pines which is ideal for children to play in and for family barbecues etc. The palazzo is on a quiet private road and close to the far end of the road which opens onto alpine meadows. The other end of the road is just 80 metres from superb local stores including a family run bakery and mini-market, greengrocers and a wine shop which sells wine from both bottles and barrels. The road is also a short walk from both the ‘Corso 4 November’ which is the main high street in the City of Asiago and the local coach station. So it is possible to get to the apartment and get around without a car. Close by is the ice hockey stadium and a short-cut to it features both a superb cycling shop and sourdough Pizzeria. Beyond the stadium is the Millepini park with a mini funfair for small children and a tree walking/climbing course.
